Cookie policy
No advertising cookies and no tracking pixels. Analytics loads only if you accept, and you can change your mind in one click.
The short version
This site sets no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party marketing tags. There is nothing here that follows you to other websites.
What cookies this site sets
The site is built as static pages and does not create a login or a session, so it sets no cookies of its own for ordinary browsing.
- Form submission: when you send an enquiry, the form-handling provider may set a short-lived cookie to guard against spam and duplicate submissions. This is strictly necessary for the form to work.
- Google Analytics: only if you accept. It sets cookies that count visits and tell us which pages people find useful. We turn off its advertising features, and we ask it not to record your full IP address.
The cookie banner, and what happens if you decline
Consent is required for any cookie that is not strictly necessary, so we ask before we set one. The banner appears on your first visit and gives refusing the same weight as accepting.
Nothing analytics-related loads until you accept. If you decline, or ignore the banner, the Google Analytics script is never added to the page and none of its cookies are set. That is the difference between asking and asking then loading it anyway.
Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage instead of in a cookie, so declining does not itself set anything.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. It clears the choice, reloads the page without the analytics script, and asks again. Withdrawing consent is one click, exactly like giving it.
If you accept, we remember that until you withdraw it. If you decline, we remember that for ninety days and then ask once more. We do not re-ask every visit: being asked the same question every time you arrive is not much of a free choice.
Controlling cookies
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the enquiry form working. If that happens, clear your browsing data and try again, or use a different browser.
If you would rather not use the footer link, clearing this site's stored data in your browser has the same effect.
